Description
WIO Darwin Black Lava Stone is a unique and visually striking volcanic rock ideal for aquariums and terrariums. This porous stone is rich in minerals and has a rugged texture that makes it perfect for creating natural and aesthetically pleasing aquatic and terrestrial landscapes.

The rock's dark colouration, created by combining black and dark grey tones, contrasts with the brighter colours of aquatic plants, mosses, and the fauna within the habitat. The porous surface of the Darwin Black Lava stone is perfect for beneficial bacteria and microorganisms to grow and thrive. This makes it an excellent option for establishing a bioactive environment in aquariums, terrariums, and vivariums, essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems.

The rough texture of the Darwin Black Lava stone also provides the ideal surface for epiphytic plants such as Anubias and mosses like Java moss, and it also creates a natural-looking landscape that mimics the natural environments of many aquatic and terrestrial organisms. Additionally, its porous nature allows it to absorb and release water quickly, making it an excellent choice for planted tanks, humid habitats, and those that require high moisture levels.

This inert stone does not harden water, making it ideal for sensitive aquatic animals and plants.
