AQUATIC LIFE Classic Carbon Plus Pre-filter Cartridge

AFFORDABLE CHLORAMINE REMOVAL – The Carbon Plus chloramine filter cartridge features high-capacity reduction of chloramines.  Designed to fit standard water filtration units that use 10” x 2.5” cartridges, each cartridge treats 3,000 gallons (11,356.24 litres) of water @ 0.5 GPM (1.9 litres per minute) flow rate, 3 ppm chloramine with a greater than 98% reduction. 

CHLORAMINE & CHLORINE – In addition to removing chloramines, the Carbon Plus cartridge is rated to treat 30,000 gallons (113,562.40 litres) of water @ 0.5 GPM (1.9 litres per minute) flow rate, 2 ppm chlorine. Using a cartridge that removes both chloramines and chlorine ensures proper water conditioning.

SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE – The carbon block design helps reduce sediment and carbon fines found in many granular cartridges. The half-micron pore size is an ideal pre-filter for many water systems including reverse osmosis and deionization systems.

DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR STANDARD CARBON – Chloramines will destroy a RO membrane if not removed prior to the water reaching the membrane. Use the Carbon Plus cartridge in place of your existing carbon cartridge to protect your RO membrane.

INDEPENDENT LAB TESTED – The Carbon Plus filter cartridges have been tested by a third-party NABL accredited laboratory to meet or exceed the NSF/ANSI 42 standard for drinking water treatment units.
